Frequently Asked QuestionsBusiness person

These are a sample of the most often asked questions of our team.  If you do not find the answer to your question, please visit the Contact page and submit a request.

Q: Is it necessary to have anti-virus software on a computer?

A: Yes, it is - although it may not completely protect your investment, it is better than having nothing at all.  A virus can cause serious damage.  We have links to FREE anti-virus software on the Helpful Links page.

Q: If I have more than one anti-virus software - am I doubly protected?

A: No, actually you are not protected.  Anti-virus software is intended to work in an environment by itself. If there is more than one anti-virus program on your computer, they will technically "fight" each other and leave the computer unprotected.

Q:  What is a screen shot?

A: A "picture" of your screen and any open (visible) windows.  Before you take a screen shot close any sensitive information.

Q:  How do I take a screen shot?

A:  Close sensitive information first, then click the Control key and Print Screen key simultaneously. Then open the PAINT program (Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint). Click the Paste button, then SAVE

Q:  Is it necessary to install more than one Web Browser?

A:  It is suggested to have at least two, Internet Explorer and a second option, such as Firefox or Google Chrome (both are free).  See the Helpful Links page to download.

Q:  How do I avoid getting a virus on my computer?

A:  Do not open emails (especially if they contain attachments), from unknown sources, do not click advertisements and avoid websites from unreputable sources.  Also keep the anti-virus software updated along with the latest Windows Updates.
